When you don't prepare for something you are not going to succeed. You are setting yourself up to fail. I believe this is true because one time i decided not to study for my math test and i didn't get a good grade on the test. You have to prepare to do your best at all times or else you won't. Also being unprepared isn't going to have a good outcome ever. People need to be prepared to be successful.
